• Share location with trusted contacts

• Capture and transmit evidence (such as photos or media)

Red Halo is intended to support personal safety, not replace emergency services.

2. Not a Substitute for Emergency Services

Red Halo does not replace 911 or local emergency responders.

You agree that:

• You will contact emergency services in life-threatening situations

• Red Halo is a supplemental tool only

• We do not guarantee response times or outcomes

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use Red Halo responsibly and lawfully.

You must not:

• Use the app to send false or misleading alerts

• Harass, threaten, or misuse emergency contacts

• Interfere with the app’s operation or security

• Use Red Halo for unlawful surveillance or recording

You are solely responsible for:

• The alerts you send

• The contacts you notify

• The content you capture and share

4. Consent & Recording Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

• Laws regarding recording audio/video vary by location

• You are responsible for complying with applicable laws

• Red Halo does not provide legal advice

You agree to only use recording features where permitted.

5. Accounts & Security

If you create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining its security

• You must provide accurate information

• You must notify us of unauthorized use

We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access.

6. Alerts & Messaging

By using Red Halo:

• You authorize the app to send SMS/MMS alerts to your selected contacts

• Message frequency varies based on usage

• Standard carrier rates may apply

Contacts receiving alerts may reply:

• STOP to unsubscribe

• HELP for support

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee:

• Continuous uptime

• Immediate message delivery

• Accurate location data

• Error-free performance

Red Halo may be affected by:

• Network issues

• Device limitations

• Third-party services

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Red Halo is not liable for:

• Failure of alerts to send or deliver

• Delays in notifications

• Inaccurate location data

• Any damages resulting from use of the Service

This includes:

• Direct damages

• Indirect damages

• Incidental or consequential damages

Use of Red Halo is at your own risk.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Red Halo from any claims resulting from:

• Your misuse of the app

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
