Red Halo is privacy‑first. By default, emergency evidence is not stored on our servers. Users may optionally enable temporary encrypted storage (e.g., 72 hours) to preserve critical evidence.

What we collect

• Account data: name, email, and mobile number you provide.
• Alerts: when you trigger an alert, we process SMS notifications to your contacts. If temporary storage is enabled, we store evidence for the selected retention window.
• Diagnostics: limited, de‑identified analytics to improve reliability.

How we use data

• Send alert and confirmation texts you request.
• Operate features like optional evidence retention.
• Comply with law, mitigate abuse, and ensure safety.

Your choices

• Opt out of SMS anytime by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance.
• Disable temporary storage at any time; previously retained items expire per your selected window.
